Kaz’s story
As you know by now, Kaz was truly gifted with creativity. Like most of the designs you'll see here, he had an appreciation for street art and surreal illustrations. But he could also kill it with fine art and watercolours when he wanted to. Whether it was bold street-style pieces or delicate brushwork, he could make it happen effortlessly.

He was also straight-up hilarious. He'd do anything for a laugh, pulling the dumbest faces, busting out the wildest dance moves... sometimes it got extra wild and he'd barge into your room just to stick his butt out and let one rip before shutting the door on you. Yes, as his little sister I was a victim and I have to admit he was really annoying at times. One time I saw him recording his farts on his phone just to send them to random strangers online, so I guess I wasn’t the only one.
Apart from being the artistic comedian of our family, he was incredibly open minded. You could talk to him about anything and he'd never judge. Questions about what happens after death, God, the multiverse theory, controversial topics, literally anything. Whatever it was, he was always up for a chat. That openness says a lot about him: he was curious and accepting. And on top of that, he had a big heart. In a family where saying 'I love you' wasn't common, he was the one who said it more than anyone else.
Underneath all of his silliness and jokes, Kaz struggled mentally for a long time. Even more so after losing our oldest brother, Toshi, in June of 2022. Before that he lost his best friend to overdose. I won't go into the details of his struggles, because that's not how he would want to be remembered. But as you can imagine, they were very real and shaped him in ways we all felt.

My brother was an introvert and used to say nobody will remember him. Well guess what, bro? Now the whole internet's gonna know you. You’re basically immortal now.
